The internet is filled with three things. Porn, everything else, and then pictures of dead people with grievous injuries. There are more of those than you would expect. I’ve run into them before by accident (most bad things on the internet are found by accident) and then I just had to keep looking out of curoisty. I think it’s important that I did this so if I ever see a guy missing his head in person, that I don’t blow chunks. The thing that kind of eases the pain of seeing a dead person like this is that once they’re dead, they don’t look alive anymore. I know that’s how it works but you don’t see their pain so much if they’re not alive. Anyway, I’m bringing this up because of all of the zombies that I’ve killed lately. In every RE, if you’re lucky, you can take the head of a zombie clean off so I wondered, “Is this realistic?” Dear God, not even close. Zombie heads blow off clean at the neck but real people lose half of their head but then their face is still dangiling there in pieces. I’m now glad that zombie heads dissapear like they do. Games are often criticized for being gory but real gore is way way worse.

I did see Resident Evil: Degeneration and the first 5 minutes told me this was going to be much better than the non-canon live action movies. Everyone had their old voice actors yet Leon’s face just wrong. It was too stiff and they changed his nose and whatever. He actually had more expressiveness in RE4 in the in-game cutscenes. Curtis Miller’s G-virus transformation was pretty awesome. He transformed again and that was cool too. He looked a little bit like a verdugo though. He also only had two transformations while Birkin had like… five or something.

RE5 comes out in a few days and Degeneration really explained a lot of things leading up to it. Good news about 5. I’ve seen Lickers which means a return of the T-virus. Hopefully actual zombies too. Actually, that means there were zombies since zombies turn into Lickers under the right circumstances. Also, at the end of Degeneration, a TriCell worker picked up the tail of Curtis Miller which means the G-virus will also be in 5. In one of the trailers, someone from TriCell injects Wesker with some kind of vial. I’m thinking it might have been the G-virus but Wesker is powerful enough already with whatever type of T-virus he got during RE1. It’s probablly a plagas so he can control the ganados.
